Editing your booklet's author page

Your booklet’s Author Page is the final section of your booklet—and one of the most important! It’s your opportunity to build trust, introduce yourself, and provide readers with your contact details. The content on this page pulls directly from your Article Branding settings, but it can also be edited independently within the booklet editor.

✏️ What Info Appears on the Author Page?

By default, your Author Page displays the following information pulled from your branding profile:

  • Your headshot
  • First and last name
  • Company information
  • Your title
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Personal bio

Feel free to update any of this info directly in the Author Page editor—it will not affect your global branding settings.

🧭 How to View and Edit Your Author Page

  • Open your booklet in the editor.
  • Click the “Edit Author Page” tab.
  • Click into any field (like your bio or contact info) and start typing.
  • ✅ Don’t forget to click “Save Changes” at the bottom right when you're done!

📄 Why Is My Author Page Bio Taking Up More Than One Page?

The final booklet is formatted for standard letter-size (8.5" x 11") printing. If your bio is lengthy, it may overflow onto an extra page.

👉 To fix this, try shortening your bio slightly so it fits on one page.

🖼️ How Can I Add a Logo to My Author Page?

  • Go to the editor page of the booklet you’d like to customize.
  • Click the "Options" button in the top navigation
  • Click the “Watermark” tab.
  • A pop-up window will appear with placement and preview options.

🌀 My Edits Aren’t Saving. What Should I Do?

This could be due to a rare caching bug. Try one of the following fixes:

🔄 Option 1: Hard Refresh the Page

  • Windows: Press CTRL + F5
  • Mac: Press Command + R

🔁 Option 2: Reset to Default

  • Click “Edit Author Page.”
  • Click the circular arrows icon (bottom-right of the editor popup)
  • This will resync the author page and allow edits to save

⚠️ Note: Resetting may remove edits in your bio, so recheck everything before finalizing.

⏱️ Save Time with the “Apply to All Booklets” Option

If you’ve customized your Author Page and want it to appear across all your booklets:

  • ✅ Check the “Apply to All Booklets” box before saving.
  • This saves you time and ensures brand consistency across all your materials.

FAQs

Can I edit my Author Page without changing my global branding info?

Yes! Changes made directly on the Author Page only affect that booklet.

My Author Page still shows old info—why?

You may need to refresh your Author Page. Click “Edit Author Page,” then click the circular arrow icon in the top-right corner to sync the latest branding info.

Can I upload a logo separately from my headshot?

Not yet. You’ll need to combine them into one image and upload it as your headshot.

What if my edits won’t save at all?

Try a hard refresh first. If that fails, click the “Reset to Default” button in the Author Page editor and try again.
