Editing the content in your booklet

Our branded booklets offer a fantastic opportunity for customization. You can tailor them to showcase insights about your local real estate market, create personalized resources for specific clients, and so much more. To help you make the most of this feature, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions and detailed answers about editing the content of your booklets.

Below is a list of common questions and answers concerning editing the chapter content of your booklets.

Why is some of the text within the booklet red?

  • Any section that requires you to edit certain text will have a red icon next to the chapter name in the table of contents

  • Red text serves as a visual cue, highlighting sections that require your attention and editing.
  • Don't worry if the text remains red while editing; it will appear in the correct color when you generate the final PDF.
  • Additionally, you'll notice red icons in the Table of Contents, which conveniently indicate the sections that need to be edited.

Can I change the line spacing?

  • Currently, you can't adjust the line or paragraph spacing across the entire booklet within the editor. However, we're actively exploring this feature for a future upgrade.
  • In the meantime, if you need to add a single line break, you can do so by pressing Shift+Enter.

Can I change the font type and size?

  • At this time, the booklet editor doesn't support changing the font type or size.
  • However, you have a workaround: download the booklet as a PDF and import it into your preferred word processing software. This will allow you to customize fonts, text sizes, add images, and modify the page layout as needed.

Can I add images?

  • We're currently developing an exciting upgrade that will enable you to seamlessly upload images directly into the booklet's text body.

Is there a spellchecker or a find and replace function?

  • The booklet editor doesn't currently include a built-in spellchecker or find and replace function.
  • As a temporary solution, we recommend using a browser extension that offers spell-checking capabilities.
  • Alternatively, you can copy and paste the booklet's text into your preferred word processor, which will likely have spell-checking and find/replace tools.

Important Tip: If you're making extensive changes, it's a good idea to copy all the text from the booklet editor, paste it into your word processor for editing, and then paste the updated text back into the booklet editor when you're finished.
