How to use our Custom Branding Bar tool to personalize your memes

There are two tools available to help you personalize the memes you share:

  • ✨ Branding Bar Builder – This is the quickest and easiest way to get started.
  • πŸ› οΈ Custom Branding Bar – Offers advanced editing options for those who want more control and flexibility.

⚠️ Important: Bars created in one tool must be edited with that same tool. You cannot edit a bar made with the Branding Bar Builder using the Custom Branding Bar tool (and vice versa).

🧱 Managing layers

There is an option at the bottom right of your Custom Branding Bar tool called "Manage Layers."

You can go there and delete each layer that has multiple "copy" next to it (select the circled X to the right of the layer). In the image below, I show an example. This is a double copy of the text box.

⚠️ Important: If you made multiple copies of a text box, you'll want to be sure you do not delete your text boxes. You can do this by keeping an eye on your meme branding bar and ensuring that only the logos are disappearing.

FAQs

What’s the difference between the Branding Bar Builder and the Custom Branding Bar tool?

The Branding Bar Builder is a quick and easy option for getting started, while the Custom Branding Bar offers more advanced editing tools for greater personalization.

Can I edit a branding bar created in the Branding Bar Builder using the Custom Branding Bar tool?

No. Each branding bar must be edited with the same tool it was created in β€” they are not interchangeable.

What does "Manage Layers" mean in the Custom Branding Bar tool?

"Manage Layers" lets you see and organize all the individual elements (like logos and text boxes) on your branding bar. You can delete duplicate elements or layers from there.

How do I avoid accidentally deleting my text boxes when managing layers?

Watch your meme preview closely as you delete layers β€” if only logos disappear, you're safe. Avoid removing layers that contain important text.
