6. Don’t be disappointed with low engagement starting out
When you get little or no response to the stuff you post, you might wonder why it’s “not working”.
Well, to some degree, that does depend on the agent who’s posting it and their audience. Some agents are just more “engaging” than others. Some agents (and people in general) get all sorts of interaction, likes, and shares from their audience. But even that type of agent doesn’t get tons of love on every single thing they post.
First of all, not every single thing you post or send will result in immediate business. Content marketing, and marketing overall, are long-term games.
But, when you don’t get immediate response or results, that doesn’t mean your audience isn’t paying attention, or that they don’t care, or that they won’t eventually reach out when they need to buy or sell a house.
So, don’t get down if you aren’t seeing the type of reaction or results you hope for when you post some content. Just keep plugging away.
