How to publish to your personal profile on Facebook

Facebook has a policy that restricts third-party applications (like ours) from directly sharing content to personal profiles. This means you won't be able to connect our platform directly to your personal Facebook profile. However, you can still share our content to your personal profile using a couple of simple workarounds.

Workaround 1: Download and Upload

Step 1: Find the meme or content you want to share on our platform.
Step 2: Download the meme or content to your device.
Step 3: Go to your personal Facebook profile.
Step 4: Create a new post and upload the meme you downloaded just like you would with any other image. (Don’t forget to write a caption!)

Workaround 2: Share from Your Facebook Page

If you have a Facebook Business Page, you can use it as a bridge to share content on your personal profile:

Step 1: Post the desired meme or content from our platform to your Facebook Page. (Requires you to connect your Facebook Page to your Lighter side account here)
Step 2: Go to your Facebook Page and locate the post you just made.
Step 3: Click on the "Share" option, and select share on your personal profile.

This method is useful if you want to maintain a consistent brand presence across both your business and personal pages.
