How to use Branded Booklets to generate leads on articles you share

You can tease your readers with a free downloadable copy of your branded booklets within the Lighter Side articles you share. When prospects submit their info in the opt-in at the bottom of the article, they’ll instantly receive a copy of your booklet—while you collect their contact details as leads.

📝 Step 1: Choose the Booklet You Want to Offer

Go to the Branded Booklet section in your member site and open the booklet you want to use.

  • Click on Lead Gen in the navigation menu.
  • Under the page title, select Article Opt-In Forms.
  • Toggle Offer this booklet on articles you share to the On position.
  • (Optional) Edit the Thank You email that your prospects will receive after requesting the booklet.


📄 Step 2: Display the Opt-In Box on an Article

  • Visit the Articles section and open the article you want to use.
  • Click the Lead Gen button next to the article title.
  • Toggle on Lead Gen Opt-In Forms.
  • Select the booklet you enabled in Step 1.


The opt-in box will now appear at the bottom of the article for your audience!


FAQs


Can I select more than one booklet per article?

No—only one booklet can be tied to a specific article at a time.


Why don’t I see my booklet in the dropdown list?

Double-check that you toggled the booklet on under Lead Gen > Article Opt-In Forms. Once enabled, it will appear in the dropdown.


How will I know when someone requests my booklet?

You’ll receive an email notification with the lead’s name and email address.


I’m not seeing lead emails—what should I do?

  • Check your spam/junk folder in case they landed there.
  • If so, whitelist our email address so future leads go directly to your inbox.
  • Whitelisting instructions for your email provider can easily be found online.
