How can I send new lead notifications to another email address?
By default, when you join The Lighter Side, new lead notifications are sent to the email address you signed up with. However, you can easily update this email address—or even add a secondary one—so you never miss a lead.

- Access Your Blog Settings
Sign in to your Lighter Side account and navigate to your Blog Settings page.
- Locate the Lead Gen Section
In Blog Settings, find the tab labeled Lead Gen. This is where you’ll manage all your lead notification preferences.
💡 Note: The email you set here is where leads from your articles, blog site, and booklets will all be sent.
- Update Your Primary Email Address
In the Lead Gen section, find the Primary Email field.
Enter the new email address where you want to receive notifications.
- Add a Secondary Email (Optional)
Want to send notifications to an assistant, team member, or even a CRM tool? Enter their address in the Secondary Email field.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Changes take effect immediately.
- All new leads will go to the updated address(es).
- Keeping your notification email(s) current ensures you never miss opportunities to connect with potential clients.
FAQs
Can I add more than two email addresses?
No. At this time, you can set one Primary and one Secondary address only.
Will changing my email affect past leads?
No. It only applies to new incoming leads after the change is made.
Can I forward leads automatically to my CRM?
Yes. If your CRM provides a unique email address for lead forwarding, you can enter it as your Secondary Email.
Do changes apply to both articles and booklets?
Yes. The Lead Gen email settings apply to all lead sources in your account.
